Your career as a myotherapist
Extend your skills as a massage therapist by deepening your assessment of the musculoskeletal system and inherent movement patterns.
How you will learn
Through this program you'll develop advanced techniques to treat myofascial pain, joint pain and neuropathic pain - from the nervous system.
The program culminates in capstone experiences which include work integrated learning activities, where you’ll apply your learning in a workplace context.
RMIT’s industry focus and emphasis on practical skills puts me ahead of students from other institutions studying the same discipline. More than just teaching me the theory behind myotherapy, the hands-on experience allows me to become good at what I do because it’s all real.
- Adam Rose, Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy)
