The Lathner Virtual School

The Lathner Virtual School is an interactive learning and teaching environment which has been created to encourage dialogue within the RMIT education student community.

The site takes you inside a virtual recreation of Lathner Primary School. You are a pre-service teacher working in the Year 4/5F virtual classroom alongside 20 students and a teacher/mentor, Anna Jones. Anna and the other school staff invite you to take risks and challenge your teaching and students’ learning.

The website is attached to the book Learning to Teach: New Times, New Practices (Second Edition) from Oxford University Press.
