The School of Accounting at RMIT has a proud history of providing programs that meet the evolving needs of students and industry, while creating mutually beneficial partnerships with industry. All of our programs incorporate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) which means that our students are work-ready by the time they graduate.
The School’s research activities concentrate on the principal areas of social and environmental accountability, accounting education, corporate governance and auditing. Staff direct their research efforts to attracting competitive and external research funds, publishing in quality journals and presenting and workshopping papers at domestic and international conferences.
The School of Accounting has developed an interactive Accounting ethics game, providing you with three hours of CPD, as well as a badged RMIT micro-credential. The game titled Bogart Technologies takes you through a series of simulated situations to improve your awareness and application of the fundamental principles and the conceptual framework underpinning the Code of Ethics.
